For those of you who have never been, here is a look-see at the Punta Chivato annual garage sale, which is always done on the last Sunday in
January. Les and I always spend a bunch to support their local scholarship program and then the leftovers are kindly donated to me.
I buy clothes and tennis shoes for my scholarship kids, clothes that I bring back are sold by La Bocana ladies to bring money to the Beca Blanca
scholarship program and then I take stuff to San Ignacio to a woman who works with ex drug addicts. In this manner, we are all paying it way
forward.
This year there were many helpers both inside and outside.
This time I got to meet author Jinx Schwartz!!
There is always fresh coffee, homemade chili or chilidogs and baked goods for sale!
