Filled up in San Felipe last week....at the station on south side of town as you head to Puertocitos....it was a GIRL doing the pumps.....and not bad
looking either....gave a tip even though she didn't wash the windows.....(probably didn't know how but who cares).....this is a good trend I
believe....

Living in San Felipe, this is my station of choice. I have never had problems about short fills etc. Paying in dollars, sometime the exchange could
be better. If you have no dollars, a ATM in the AM-PM you can get up to 3000 pesos on a debit card and do your spending in peso's rather than at the
mercy of the mercvhant's decided rate. And it is up to each merchant what rate they want to use, not what you think they should..
The last time I filled up my truck with diesel, the girl started it and went away. The pump stopped and a guy came over and restarted it and
completed the fill up. The pump showed 300 pesos. But he had written on his hand 350 pesos and 300 pesos total 650 pesos. I said "what!!!" They
explained that if a pump is off for more that 45 seconds or so it will not restart with being rung back. We discussed the fact that they will NEVER
ring a pump back for me without pointing the meter out to me before. I don't doubt the correctness of the whole transaction as I know I was going to
take about 38 gallons. Also, I'll pay a bit more attention while the pump is running.
Still my favorite station.

San Quintin as well...

This PEMEX sation had two young ladies pumping gas as well in San Quintin. I always stop at this PEMEX sation when travelling with my wife and kids
(on the right side as you are heading south/about mid-way through San Quintin) since it has one of the cleanest restrooms in all Baja; convience store
and a safe place to walk the dog. I can be in and out within 15 minutes with all bases covered. You gotta love a "pit stop" like that...everyone's
happy!

You are right about being the cleanest station in Baja. I have watched them wipe down the garbage cans that sit at the ends of the gas pump islands.
We never miss getting coffee there in the mornings while passing through.

That one looks good --- but there is no black sign under the green and red one. Soooo can't fill up with diesel there.
