The first post-Hwy. 1 completion Auto Club guides had the Eagle Monument as the front cover. I have a 1975 edition.
The next cover is of our favorite beach palm tree scene at El Coyote, Bahía Concepción. You know, the palms that have been photographed at the top
of the beach sand, just above high tide, since the 1940s, and after all this sea level rising is still just above the high tide line 70 years later.
The cover of the next guidebooks changed to a wave crashing scene (1988-1991 and maybe more years), perhaps at Cabo...
