Anyone heading south

jrbaja - 3-3-2005 at 01:08 PM

that might have some extra space, I need a small compressor, hose and nail guns and a pie from Cynda brought from Rosarito to San Bartolo. I will be happy to pay in fresh fruit, candy or empanadas.
Gracias

I'm headed that way!

Friends helping friends.... isn't that what life's all about? :saint:

any one heading so.

bajaruby - 3-3-2005 at 01:46 PM

 Not in my neck of the woods.. I think I am the only one around here willing to help a friend. It is very refreshing to know that there are people out there willing to help their fellow Baja trveler. It just make me feel like some of the old school are still around. I guess that is why we all love baja so much. Right? Back to the way life was intended.
Bajaruby

Ya got that right......

Apple Pie heading south

Cyndarouh - 3-4-2005 at 02:15 PM

Let me know when to have the pie for whom ever to pick up. I am heading down to JR's place in Rosarito next week will be there all day cleaning the little beach house obove Jr's for guest coming in on the week end. Let me know at least a week ahead so I can meet up and hand the pie off. JR is it your usuall Berry Apple you want.?:?::?::?::light:

Homemade pie

Sharksbaja - 3-4-2005 at 02:23 PM

Did someone say homemade pie? iI hear Pompano(or thereabouts) makes a banana cream pie. The bananas suck here in the NW. We really enjoy the juicy, tasty fruit and wholesome produce in Baja.

Yes homemade pies

Cyndarouh - 3-5-2005 at 12:27 PM

I take Jr pies most the time when I head south. Its a tradition to hand off pies when we meet new people we like and that share kindness with us.

Banana Cream?

Cyndarouh - 3-5-2005 at 12:44 PM

Not sure how well a Cream pie will travel. I know JR's Fav, is Berry Apple. We could make you a banana cream for the fee of delivering the apple pie to Jr????:bounce:

I suppose I could give you a pie or two.....

Pompano - 3-5-2005 at 12:59 PM

providing I can wake up the baker.....

Baker!! Wake Up!!........someone wants another banana cream pie!

Pompano - 3-5-2005 at 01:01 PM

Correct!
These do not travel well, but I'm sure a sacrifice will be made enroute to preserve the memory of the pie!
