Of all the Baja treats my favorite are conos. Only found (by me) in Baja Norte... a croissant style ice cream cone-like dough with a pudding filled
center. Oh my, I'd stock up in Maneadero for my trip south. Also seems they usually come out of the oven around 4 p.m. The last I found was in a
dulceria bakery in Colonet, and never saw another one going south from there.Colonet's bakery I'd stop at closed over 10 years ago. 2nd best was
choco-flan in Baja Sur, but just not the same. Mago's was great, all deserts in Baja are wonderful... but conos? Anyone have any in the lower
regions? What's your favoritas?
