This site is currently tailored to the Alta California missions (San Diego and north), but the host will be expanding to include the first and other California missions that are located in Baja California (which was the only California before 1769).

It seems like a nice website... I hope that I will be adding the Baja missions to it or help the site host, as he now has my book.

About history: People may make judgments of the past based on modern thinking but historians serve the future best by reporting what is known, as accurately as possible, without judgment so students can form their own opinions.

Written western history tends to be eurocentric (they wrote it) in its cause and effect analysis efforts as it relates to indigenous peoples forced cultural assimilation. A couple more centuries might give some clarity though.
