Tooth extraction

deportes - 6-15-2018 at 06:37 AM

Any idea what it costs more or less to have a cracked loose molar extracted in Tijuana or Ensenada by a dentist. My insurance signup messed up and ended up without dental insurance for 2018. Thanks.

you want it done by a dentist? good call that's who i would choose to. i would guess less than $100. assuming its a simple extraction. good luck.

I mentioned a dentist, otherwise wise a...would start with they have a pair of pliers and they could do it for 10 bucks. But wise a,... are everywhere. Thanks for your reply. It should be a simple extraction.

I've used Washington Dental for more than 25 years and have been pleased with work and prices.

Any dentist worth his salt should be able to do a simple extraction on both sides of the border. For some reason, when I cracked a tooth, my dentist sent me to an oral surgeon, to pull the tooth, but I have to admit, I loved the laughing gas I was given before the extraction.

The real pain was the $500 dollar bill, and even with insurance I had to pay half of that.

I should have went to TJ.

Cost for an Extraction

In the USA, Extractions usually go for around $180 to $300 depending on what type of extraction is needed. In Tijuana Mexico Extractions cost about $60 to $100 but again this is depending on the type needed.

I use Washington Dental in TJ and had a molar extracted last summer. It's a large efficient operation with a bunch of dentists working. No appointment, just walk in. I waited about 15 minutes to see a dentist.

Sixty dollars if I remember correctly. No pain, not even the injection, the dentist did a good job.

Buy a Sugar Daddy candy bar, guaranteed to remove loose teeth. My dad (a dentist) used to tell his patients with small kids to do that if they were worried about baby teeth coming out.

My dad was a dentist too... I could never figure out why people were afraid of dentists? LOL

They work great for removing crowns and bridge work in adult's mouths too. Every year after Halloween someone would call. I'm sure the cements used were nowhere near what they are today.
