Years ago I stayed several times at Villas de Loreto, I think the owners were called Ron and Wendy. They were planning on converting the motel and surrounding cabins in to some type of condo ownership.
I haven’t heard anything about Villas or Ron and Wendy for a while and wonder if anyone might have some information.

Wifey and I stayed there in 1996 and again for part of our honeymoon in 1999. It is still the nicest 'hotel' I ever stayed at in Baja. We caught some fish and had a big taco feast around the pool with all the guests. When we were there in 99 Ron and Wendy were on an around the world trip and their niece and her husband were holding fort.
We were sad when they converted. Good times!:dudette:

We also had a great taco feast around the pool where the guests pitched in beer, chips, salsa, guacamole and everyone had a great time. Another night Ron brought some fresh corn from some farmers he was working with and everyone enjoyed that along with more beer.
Some very good times and memories and agree that it’s the best place I have stayed in Loreto.
