Storms changing track?

SO far its been quiet.

But the latest windy.com forecast shows a major storm making a direct hit on Cabo August the 7th. I know that is a ways off...but time to review preparations, look at travel plans, and keep on eye on the forecast.

I posted the same link earlier today on Woody's thread. Maybe the threads should be combined to keep things simple.

I have been watching the Windy.com site for a few years, and will track this storm daily even though I am over four thousand miles north right now.

It is a good sight, and surely there will be a significant storm, but the track and intensity is subject to many variables. Sometimes they nail it, but at least once last year the forecast was still showing a storm moving right up the peninsula, when it had already gone ashore mid way up the Cortez and was almost blown outto no big deal!

Too far out to be sure right now...but bears watching.

Looks like Mother Nature is throwing a beautiful big curveball!! This morning Windy shows the hurricane curving out to the west narrowly missing us here on the tip. It's still early !

To which hurricane are you referring sir? 14 mph winds, and an inch of rain, are not a hurricane.

nothing in your neighborhood.

Windy showing possibility of a major storm sliding on inside line with headon collision course with BCS two days ago. A week out. Todays tracking model shows this Spinner is now looking like it's sliding W/NW. Tough to predict Tropical Storms/Hurricanes.
