Unless there are clouds of talcum-powder-like dust... it's not a silt bed. Nice photo of a playa, however! JZ - 9-6-2018 at 09:21 PM

I love the photos, please don't post the names of the points. Those that know, know. Those that don't, don't. I love this area and there are no
secrets. Some of us would have it less exposed. I looks like a great trip, glade you gotta ride it.JZ - 9-6-2018 at 10:00 PM

Awesome photos -- can we expect a video soon?
Have driven that a few times in a truck, but the bike looks LOTS more fun.JZ - 9-7-2018 at 11:33 AM

Yeah, going to start working on it this weekend. We've done three trips of the SS in the last year, so lots of footage.
A bunch of it is GoPro footage which I haven't used in videos much - that's going to be interesting to play will. I put the GoPro on a couple
different places of the truck like you did in the video you showed me.

Awesome, thanks for the great photos. Love the drone shots.
Gary,
I am not sure when I am doing this ride.....maybe late November....but dunno
Several Nomads have expressed interest in doing the trip, and most are in trucks....one big guy with chicken legs rides a bike and also is
interested....I rode with him before for a week in Baja and we tolerated each other rather well
And I will be e-mailing them to update them with my present uncertainty soon.
I figure I will ride from Bahia Asuncion, take just under a week, and ride up and down , camping several nights at spots I like....
So , I will put the 5 gallon tank on bike which solves the gas issue....and rely on a Dromedary bag for water....a few cans of sardines and some TP,
and I am set....

We were able to get gas at the store in Santa Rosalitia on our way South. Might stay there on this years trip or keep on to GN if we are making good
time? Awesome pictures JZ!
