Hang on!!!

BajaBlanca - 9-7-2018 at 07:18 PM

Stay dry!

Sandlefoot - 9-7-2018 at 07:25 PM

Yep!!! I had almost 1.5 inches in about thirty minutes up at Lomas de Palmira. A friend of mine over in Comitan said he thought he had over 2 inches. It was a "gully washer"!!!

4x4abc - 9-7-2018 at 07:34 PM

yup - it was pretty wet in Comitan

Skipjack Joe - 9-7-2018 at 07:45 PM

Whatever happened to Comitan?

DaliDali - 9-8-2018 at 08:17 AM

Serious rainfall from a trop storm or a chubasco, is the main source of moisture/water to all of Baja.

Let those gullies rip!!!

Comitan is slowly getting better.
Cleaner
Brighter
Houses in good shape
less Gringo junk
some impressive houses

disclaimer: I don't live there and have nothing to sell there

The streets were rivers to the bay in Benito Juarez. EEBmike says more on the way.

Just started in Loreto, so far just a nice tropical rain not too hard, not too windy. So far.............

Perfect tropical wave passing by for the last 24. Beautiful "soaking" rain. Rare here. Usual pattern here is huge amounts in a very short time. It may be dry and hot in the east end and flooding in the west.

However, now it is peeing dogs an cats in Puesta del Sol / Esperanza III area.

I measure rain intensity by roof leakage :(
Without leg issue and bandage I could take a nice shower now in living room.....

is the solution - at least short term, as simple getting a quality tarp up on the roof? or am I missing something?

Probably flat cement roof, with cement barrier all around. Not much slope and a lot of cracks. Very common.

we just got to our house here in la paz and found puddles and more puddles but we were downtown at el zarape and there was not one drop of rain!

how bizarre.
