Anyone stayed there lately? I have a few questions.
Is it clean? Lot of rooms? Restaurant on site?

Its varying degrees of funky in a good way. Food is available for a price. It’s mostly surfers skaters and the occasional off road crew coming

What shape are the roads off of Highway one like? I would be thinking of taking my 27 foot RV. I assume their are no RV parks so is there some flat
land to park on the water? My rig is self contained so I wouldn't need any hookups.David K - 9-27-2018 at 08:21 AM
There actually is a RV park or campground of sorts just north of Punta San Jacinto, Las Lagunitas. The dirt roads were easy to drive, flat with the
gentle downhill to the ocean from the highway.
It is an easy 5.2-mile drive from Km. 146, Jaramillo, on Hwy. 1 to the coast. The road is the signed turnoff for CUATRO CASAS. However, at the end of
the road is just a rocky beach and NO CASAS . I turn south and follow the coast.
The road south from Cuatro Casas to San Jacinto. Many people are mining the coast for beach rocks used in decorative gardening and landscaping. See
these stones at a Home Depot or Lowes near you!
2.2 miles south on the coast road is a camping place called Las Lagunitas.
3.0 miles south is the shipwreck at San Jacinto, several beach homes.
3.6 miles, a road heads east, back to Hwy. 1 (4.0 miles) at Km. 149.5+. Howard - 9-27-2018 at 08:47 AM

I went out there many years ago, and recall one water crossing before you get to Cuatro Casas. This was probably 20-25 years ago, so perhaps the
road has changed/improved. Was virtually nothing out there back then.

Turn west at the paved road that goes to SPM (look for the sign) and you’ll be fine. Its sorta sandy the last 1/4 mile but the road right before the
rock wall on the beach is prolly best. No hookups but plenty of place to park on the cliff at Cuatro. $5/day. A RV won’t make it up the coast from
Jaramillo as there are a few ravine crossings but things change and it may be doable now with all of the rock harvesting and flat bed traffic.
