with me, I liked it the way it was.....I bet there will be a several year delay in getting it back to where it was before the storm...Maybe they will
just abandon the whole project? New regime and all...Jes sayin....I maybe

When the bridges are destroyed by flooding it becomes obvious that they were not correctly designed. It is pretty simple to make the longer and add
the rock berms to direct the water. And they chose to save Pesos and rebuild the bridges as required after the storms. The result is way higher cost

Are you asking about the big bridge that is next to Papa Fernandez' road, over Arroyo Alfredo, at Km. 143?
It was built in 2013.

It is hard enough to plan for the amount of water that floods down the arroyos, but the debris and rocks that come along for the ride turn the bridges
into giant beaver dams!
That is what Odile or Norbert did to the brand new bridges on the road north of constitution a couple of years ago. When water is running over the

The highway between Puertecitos and Gonzaga only is 5-10 years old and for three of its bridges to fail at the first big flash flood event says very
little for either the engineering or the construction. Especially since they took so long to build it... only completed about 10 kms per year from
2007 to 2015! The last 3 years only saw about 1 mile completed and 4 more paved but not officially opened.
