I had 3 different Chevy 4x4 PUs of that vintage. Stone age comfort and very, very thirsty.
I too fell for GM's promotion of this t**d. Finally had the sense to walk away after it made me walk for the last time. Big tires do not a monster
make. Now we are going to hear from someone that got 300k trouble free. dizzyspots - 10-22-2018 at 08:39 AM

Nice.
I had a 1980 chevy 3/4 ton with a Six Pack cabover. More power and better gas mileage with the smog pump off.bajatrailrider - 10-23-2018 at 09:10 AM

These campers were generally put in the "Chinook" category. The design made alot of sense for wind resistance and were lightish in weight. Really
early gen 1 Toyota pickups had this Chinook design. To me they have Baja offroad written all over them. Doesnt seem to be anything made in this sort
for many years now. I like em alot.
