Several great stories of different Baja locations... plus one I wrote on the desert campground of El Sauce, southeast of El Rosario...

interesting articles as usual ...
perhaps the wrong place to suggest it, but making the locations clear(er) in several of the articles this month would have been helpful.
For example, while your article has a map, the description of the location:
"The road to El Sauce leaves Highway 1 just south of the Km. 82 marker, 15.5 miles from the Baja Cactus gas station and motel of El Rosario."
doesn't say whether it is north or south of El Rosario ... La MisiĆ³n never really says where it is ... and "Street bargains" assumes you know he is
talking about Rosarito/Tijuana area until you get down into it quite a ways ...
it's a long peninsula, some general idea of where things are would help those articles a lot imo (and not just this month) ...

Good points Jake!
I wrote the El Sauce article, which has the map and has kilometer markers shown on the map. El Rosario (at the Baja Cactus) is at Km. 57, shown on the
map, and the road to El Sauce is just southbound of the Km. 80 point, shown on the map.
I agree with you about some of the other locations being a bit vague. I am not sure other authors of those articles are reading Nomad, except Greg
Niemann, who is here on Nomad (GregN).
A big wall map of Baja used to be a natural for Baja folks to have... and of course, one should study it and daydream about being there, too!
These 5 ft. tall Mike McMahan maps on wall's wall once were the sure sign of someone with Baja Fever...
