I'm leaving the crappy San Felipe weather (and overwhelming FLIES) for the Pacific side. Considering tent camping at San Pedro Martir for several
days. Anyone been there lately? Already read David's article from last year. Thanks!

still too hot in SF? We went up the mountain in May. It was perfect. Not many people.

Camped there two nights in June
It just doesn't get any better
Plenty of fuel for giant bonfires
No one around to peer into your campsite.
And awesome views of condors on the highway halfway to Meling
Go for it!!

I saw photos o facebook where they had their first dusting of snow last week I think it was...bring a warm sleeping bag!

My buddies rode their baggers up there from San Quintin a couple weeks ago, my friend said it was very beautiful and blew him away. I'm sure if there
are oaks, cottonwoods, or aspens the colors might be awesome too. I'm planning a bp trip into La Grulla next April and I really look forward to
seeing the high country of Baja. Looks very much like the Eastern Sierra.
I'm not sure if there is potable water at the campground or not, so probably wise to carry a good supply. But, you know that.

Accuweather and the observatory have weather updates and forecasts. We’ll be up there nov 1st for another picacho trip via botella azul.

Hey Luke! Just saying "Hello" from Texas. I'm doing fine. I hope you have a safe hike and climb.
