alphonsinas requires 2 nights on weekend...we are just passing thru for 1 night....any other rentals, Puertocitos or near Gonzaga bay?

Alfonsina's is not the only motel, just the nicest.
Next door at Rancho Grande, they rent mobile home rooms.
The next place south is Campo Beluga, and they have a couple of cabins.
The next place a few miles south of Beluga is El Sacrificio and they rent cabins.
North of Gonzaga Bay at Punta Bufeo is a cozy motel. It is just not on the beach but set back a few hundred feet.

Alphonsinas is way excessive charging between $80-$100 US per night. A little effort and you can do much better.
