I apologize if this has already been posted.

In the latest issue of the Discover Baja Newsletter, November 2018, is a lot of good information if and when things go wrong when you are in Baja. It is written by Carla King.

I have helped in medivacs on several occasions and one very important point to take into consideration is TIME!!! If it is not on your side I suggest chartering a local plane to get the patient out ASAP.
Arranging medivacs to fly into Baja...especially in remote areas take a whole day to arrange so planes dont arrive till the next day.
Local charter planes can leave withing a couple hours and get you to TJ where you arrange through the red cross to have an ambulance waiting to get you to secondary....where it's wise to get someone to arrange an american ambulance to be waiting. This might save a life!

You must pay for the flight and then it will be reimbursed by your insurance hopefully.
