They might be mullet. Do they splash about? Do they take a hook? Mullet don't.

They may be the same one's that are in the tanks ( in Bangkok and Pattaya ) that eat the skin off your feet.
It's touted as a SPA treatment.

The striped tails and lack of circular schooling are throwing me off them being related to sardinas (flat iron herring) or mullet.
Granted, Loreto sardinas look very little like San Diego 'Dines that I'm used to, but these guys in the video are neither
Too big to be anchovies of some sort I think
