I hope everyone is looking East before sunrise to enjoy the incredible brilliance of this awesome sight!!

Many mornings I have awakened on my cot in L A Bay to look out across the water and see Venus aglow.

Right now she is at her brightest and best for a few short weeks.

I definitely noticed Venus seemed exceptionally bright this morning when I was out walking. Thanks for the information, the morning sky can be spectacular at times.

Venus will be in that position and time until the end of March
around Jan 20 Venus will be joined by Jupiter

I camped on the beach there last year about this time and saw the same thing. One of the locals told me later what I saw was the anchor lite on an old trawler.
