Yes, just let them know you have a pet. I always bring a really big cover for the bed.

Yes Phil, but Antonio would appreciate it if you didn't let the dogs get on the bed.

Agree. I think those of us that stay there occasionally would also appreciate it if you did not let the dogs get on the bed!!
Take a cot and sleep under the stars at Catavina and let the pooch sleep where the critter and you agree upon.
Personally I much prefer stars to ceiling tiles overhead...

Is the restaurant done yet? Headed down after the first of the year, sure love that place! We almost always stay in the upstairs room with 3 beds,
works good for us!

I have tried emailing Antonio without luck. The last email I got from him, sadly, was to tell me his father (Antonio Sr.) had died following a battle
with cancer. That was on October 11.
Antonio Sr. was a super nice man. We got to meet him and Antonio Jr. at jrbaja's home back in 2004:
The late Baja Bernie was there, too (in black hat):
Of course, jrbaja was there (with beer by lips)... now the three are together talking Baja in heaven:
Photos taken by BajaNomad (Doug)...
Antonio Sr. was a math teacher who spent time in various Baja schools including La Bocana (near Abreojos).
A history professor friend Miguel, is next to him.
Antonio Jr. listens in, as does Bernie.

Dogs are on the floor. They do have their own sleeping bag laid out for them though.

When my dog and I do a road trip, I bring the cushion from her X-large airline kennel. Whether I am on a beach, sleeping in my car, or in an
occasional motel, she has a familiar piece of home to sleep on!
The cover is washable, and she uses the kennel as kind of a cozy hangout at home.
