How does it get from my camera to the Postimages.org page.
That is where I am stuck.

My camera is in my phone.

Same here and everywhere nowadays. I load my phone photos to my laptop and postimages finds them. I don´t know how evryone else does it?

ehall - 12-24-2018 at 03:35 PM

Open the website on your phone.

fishbuck - 12-24-2018 at 03:38 PM

Ok. Did that. Where do I get the URL that is the photo.

David K - 12-24-2018 at 04:21 PM

Please post steps to help us less technical Nomads. I have emailed my phone photos to myself then saved them to my pictures folder. Postimages.org can get them from that folder. A more direct phone to Postimages would be nice.

ehall - 12-24-2018 at 06:08 PM

Open website
Click on "choose images" tab
All your pics should open. Select one, click on it, push done
A bunch of links will appear at bottom of page.
Copy and paste link to BN.

This t-shirt was fired from a canon off this yacht. It landed in the water. I saw and I "fished it" out of the water.
Always keep your eye on the water! You never know what you might catch...

And Merry Christmas from Newport Beach California.

My little buddies and I were training for the big one. I fed them some crackers... oyster of course, and let them go back home in the harbor.
Maybe tomorrow we will go look for halibut off the jetty.

Why is the guy trying to steal the lady’s fish?
Did she keep the fish?

chippy - 12-25-2018 at 03:46 PM

Why do you think? He wants SUSHI!

Why kill a Rooster?

Timinator - 12-26-2018 at 08:05 AM

Somewhere around the mid-late 80's.

[Edited on 12-26-2018 by BajaNomad]

David K - 12-26-2018 at 09:58 AM

You missed the size setting step... Must be 800 pixels or less to fit on Baja Nomad without stretching the frame width.

Click on the drop-down arrow on the second of the three lines on Postimages.org. 800 pixels wide is full Nomad page and 640 pixels is a large photo, but not the full width.

Edit: You notice that BajaNomad fixed the size. Please set the size for displaying your photos on forums. The quality is unchanged, only the display width is set to fit here.

You mean you actually read the terms and conditions before clicking "I Agree"? PostImage isn't happy with people like you. Now I don't have to read the rest of it to find this kind of stuff.

4 or 5 Day trip on the Maximus out of Puerto Vallarta. After bringing it home and cryovac them and we and our friends ate Tuna for over a year! Great trip except the sleeping conditions were like sleeping in an oven.

No A/C on the Maximus? I've gone a couple times on the Apollo out of PV and what great trips they are!

Weird how the Maximus sank near Cedros! :?::lol::?::lol:

Yes, very weird.

Howard - 12-27-2018 at 08:51 AM

May the Maximus rest in peace and thankfully nobody was hurt.

As great a trip as it was, boat, crew, water conditions, the bunk rooms did have A/C but was very weak and barely made a difference. Small price to pay for a great and inexpensive trip. It was much less than the boats out of San Diego and almost all water time was devoted to fishing, not traveling.

How was the bait situation?

Not sure of the bait situation on Maximus, but we always had plenty on the Apollo. I did get my biggest on the iron however; a PL68 at 4 in the morning! It hit it on the drop and taped out at 240...

Howard - 12-27-2018 at 12:11 PM

No problem on the bait and mine topped out at "only" 185 LBS. Almost killed me!

These were caught on rail rods, not my favorite kind of fishing but you got to do what you got to do.

Great experience but it kept me good for quite a while tangling with those big brutes.

Shorty halibut from a secret Newport Beach fishing hole;)
Yesterday morning. Cold, damp morning.
Halibut is back cruzing the beach at "lowers".
He/she has 2 more inches to grow and some "cuddling" with other halibut before rejoining the cosmos.

David K - 1-6-2019 at 04:36 PM

And, that worked!!! Yippee!

fishbuck - 1-6-2019 at 04:46 PM

Thanks DK

ElCap - 1-6-2019 at 09:26 PM

OK, I'm testing this out to see if I can really post pics! If it works, look out, cuz I have a whole bunch of Baja adventure pics and stories to share . . .

Oh, that's a YT I speared off San Clemente Is. a few years back (sorry I'll dig up some Baja fish pics at a later date).
