San Quintín, ... and not too much to find here. The name comes up as a gringo community west of Colonia Vicente Guerrero, Hwy. 1 at KM 166 or the place at Los Barriles on East Cape. A lot of chat mentioning it from about 2009, but no details or photos that I could find. Posada Don Diego is not too far away, just south.

I've been watching the place a little.
I checked it out some before I bought my place.
Some nice houses have been built since then.
Check out some real estate sites and you can see some pictures of the houses for sale and the area.
The houses aren't cheap.

An old friend used to rent a house there and she loved it. Very secure and private. I’ve driven the beach side and been “asked” to leave. Like the other guy said, very snooty.

Established by a mexican man (Jaime) in Vicente Guerrero in the 70's. Many are long time leasees...who are now starting to "move on" with age.

I've had a house there since 2002. Willardguy is way off base (sorry). Good people there, some full timers, some vacation homes. Some places there currently for sale as the first generation is moving on. Contact Jonathan Mendez for information. (He's a local real estate agent who also lives in CB). Regarding the weather...yep cold and windy in the spring but summer and fall weather is spectacular. CB is just 4 hours from the border so it's a great location for those who want a beach house within 1/2 day drive from SD.

Ho, ho, ho, Warf, Very funny. Get out of your black Suburban, throw a surfboard on an Econoline van and wear a hoodie. Then just check out how accommodating and friendly the locals are.

Well, you're right. We don't care for off road tours that race through our back yards (ignoring the roads) and run over our pets and kids. We also don't care for folks who leave their trash all over the beach. CB is an international community of Mexicans, Canadians and Americans. Working families and retirees living together and having fun. As for your personal insinuations...well, never mind.

what would this forum be without a few insults or political statements.

amigobaja - 1-12-2019 at 10:51 AM

Hey warf as one of your neighbors don't let the cat out of the bag about CB. The last thing we need is people like willard showing up.

remember.......only POSITIVE opinions are welcome here
