Hello! With the current rain for Ensenada area this week, does anyone know of delays on highway 1 at the Santo Tomas road construction area? I am
driving to El Rosario and wondering if it will close or if we should try to beat the rains.
Also does anyone know if there has been a lot of rain south of Catavina in the Puerto San Andres/Santa Rosaliita area or of dirt conditions in
southern Los Cirios?
Any information is appreciated!!

Since nobody had a current answer to your question, yet, I will say that Hwy 1 will not be blocked for long if it is. Too many people need to use it
and there is no alternative road.

My info is a month old. All was good then. The dirt road North from Santa rosallilita was typical washboard.

I just returned. There's some mud out to the isolated points, take the most used road and find a dry line. No problems. Pavement's pretty good. Usual
assortment of potholes. Don't run out of beer.
