It seems to be "intentionally unorganized" in some aspects of the rally with a "get there by any means" bravado. I personally like that but I wonder
with so many Baja first-timers how they will adjust.
There is a group Facebook page and many of the teams are equipped with everything you can imagine and with the latest tech. We are going analog with
"less is more" mantra, i.e. the Baja Almanac.

My thoughts too. I'm not sure, or I know, many of these racers have no idea what Baja is like. We'll see how it goes and what happens with a full
report afterwards.

well its the second time they did this - they do it every other year. first one was 2017. didn't kill anyone or lose any one, and apparently
participants loved it, so I guess the lack of Baja Experience may be part of the adventure. This is the baby brother of the Bakamo rally - all the
way down africa, I believe it may be like 8000 miles? they alternate between the 2 events year by year. a bunch of crazy Danes on Vespas completed
