Many of you may have followed George on his RV/boondocking adventures in Baja and mainland Mexico. He has not traveled to Mexico in a few years after
being robbed a few times and advancing age made his travels a little more difficult.
George was a hero and model to many who tried boondocking because of his blog. For some odd reason I have been compelled to follow him, sometimes out
of morbid curiosity to see what the old f*rt was up to.
I often wonder if the internet is really worth it to society; the damage it does to friends, families, communities and especially young men and women
is worrisome.
George was an example of how useful it can be.
Thought I would pass this on.

Sorry for your loss Jim... Thanks for the link. Real human stories are the best.

George saw some places in his life. He must have helped a lot of folks over the years. His blog goes back to 2003. You are right about the interwebs.
Ying and yang.
RIP George.

Read George a few yrs. back, he was a good Gringo ambassador
to Mex, heart was in the right place. Maybe a bit more trusting
than myself, he left it out there
