Inaccuracy makes you lose all credibility.
Like one of the earliest climate change predictions
the report stated that when the Arctic melts, the sea level would rise by x meters
however, the ice of the Arctic floats in water - displacing water
the water level would not rise due to melting of the Arctic
at that point those "experts" lost credibility and my ears |
Have you considered what happens when the land ice melts?
It's the land ice that accounts for the rising sea level in the Arctic not the sea ice.
Regarding the news report that Los Cabos, is more dangerous than Caracas, and that Los Cabos, is the most dangerous cities in world, is pretty
ludicrous, and it's not the first time Joerover, has posted about this as other members here.
It's loosely based on the homicides/deaths per 100,000, and comparing different cities using the same statistically method, and then some magazine
gets a hold of the numbers, and makes some sensationalized claim of the most dangerous cities of the world to sell it's magazine.
There are about four US cities on the list, but nobody goes running around trying to scare people from visiting those four US cities.
