This new route was very helpful in locating the Pole Line Road without need for dealing with the hostile ranchers. I drove up to their ranch and I immediately turned around. They were super angry - this was before the locked gate was placed at the entrance to the Pole Line Road.

I expect new gates will go up to keep out you riff raff that are trespassing and making/publishing detours around their gates.
Trespassing: How to not win friends and influence people :light:

Classy response! WHY? are you sniffing his chair? (Just askin)

Correct track - reduced

PaulW - 2-25-2019 at 10:00 AM

Attached is the smallest track I can create in GPX format
I had to delete most of the details shown in my GE pics above.
In any event this track is the one I drove for my prerun, and the second run I made, and the track Rich followed for Ken's group.
I should mention to crossover between the two main washes is problematic due to bushes and a bit of elevation. Starting the correct track is good. Put the GPX file into Google Earth and make some waypoints to help with navigation.

Just taking a look at rough distances... Seems the bypass route leaves the Cohabuzo/Summit road about a mile south of Mano Jcn and then at 5 miles is another road that cuts back to the summit bound road (Arroyo Saiz, not Siaz). At 17+ miles the bypass road reaches the Pole Line Road, just east of the White Tank.

Correct the entrance to the correct wash at the fence gate is problematic without the GPS track. I drove all the options to find out. Get into Saiz (first attempt) and then you have to crossover to the correct wash. My GPS map showed me the way or I would have had to backtrack. There are 3 options with driven tire tracks just south of the fence gate.
If you get into Saiz wash you will end up at the locked gate.
The KML file shows all the tracks for the various washes
