I am passing this along. It was posted to my facebook page. This RV is very distinctive looking

Is this an alias for this guy? Google does not come up with much on him.
Most people at 35 have a lot more hits.
Also dont seem to be many people looking for him.
I will be all over baja for the next few months , if I see him, I will call the number but something seems fishy here.

You're right. There appears to be a name change, and all kinds of red flags under this name!

It doesn't mean the guy is not missing.

beddows - 3-3-2019 at 07:58 AM

His family contacted me. I think he's italian.

Italian ?

MrBillM - 3-3-2019 at 10:16 AM

Well, that explains a lot.

bajatrailrider - 3-3-2019 at 10:18 AM

Even a simple Google search, of the missing person, shows that MyLife's bells and whistles are going off!

If I were a private detective one of the first things I would want to know is what is this guy into?

Tobias was on the right track.

Red flags...bells and whistles?

AKgringo - 3-3-2019 at 11:19 AM

Why? Nobody is asking for donations, or any effort on the behalf of this missing man, just information!

If you don't have any, no response is necessary! If you have seen this man or his RV, you can decide whether to share the information, or just double down on profiling him!

Seeing Red !

MrBillM - 3-3-2019 at 11:32 AM

Is the missing man a COMMUNIST ?

A lot of Italians are.

BajaTed - 3-3-2019 at 11:50 AM

"Andre" came to Baja for a reason, the same reason all the "Andre's" come to Baja for. Now he disappears in Baja.
(Que in heart tug for anything Baja here)
Saw the same post on faceplant, if you bit their "deplorable" algorithm's now smell blood

tobias - 3-3-2019 at 12:19 PM

Someone being missing is a big deal, I plan on looking for this guy as I look for everyone who goes missing down here while I bop around the baja.
The first part of that is doing just a bit of internet homework to see if this guy actually wants to be found. This due diligence made me feel like something was amiss. I was hoping that someone had some information that I had missed to shed light on the situation.
Not sure how that came off wrong but it did.
If I find more info, I will post it.
I hope others do the same.

BajaBlanca - 3-3-2019 at 12:31 PM

I hope he shows up. I hadn't read this before we went to San Ignacio / Vizcaino yesterday, but his vehicle doesn't ring a bell in my mind either.

Keep an eye out Tobias!!

Some of the sickest nomads stop sober people from posting to the mental illness thread.

Don^t give up, a lot of people read these pages.
Someone will see a 1966? rv.

Wrong. Many people have a life off the internet.

Hope he is found safe.

That is a Clark Cortez motor home. My family had one. I wish my dad had never sold it.

TMW - 3-3-2019 at 03:00 PM

It posted in the Gringo Gazette North. The contact ph # is his mom Jackie.

tobias - 3-3-2019 at 05:31 PM

That post has a great deal more information.
Last seen jan 17 is a lot more promising as well.
Says he was heading for cabo so he could be anywhere.
Did not see him between la paz, bahia de los suenos/muertos el triumfo or todos santos today.
Will check la pastura beach in the morning

the comments by people questioning the missing man's legitimacy remind me of those who obsess over getting full liters at the thieving pemex stations.

BajaBlanca - 3-4-2019 at 11:28 AM

Boy, the poster says missing since DECEMBER! I sure hope he is having fun on a remote beach.

....there's an update,, fairly positive......
UPDATE FROM HIS FAMILY (2019-03-04): โ€œAndreโ€™s mother has received a lot of phone calls from people who have seen him at different locations. Due to the language barrier it has been tough getting addresses of all the locations. As of now we know he is safe, but until his mother locates him herself we would like for this post to be active. Thank you to all who have shared and helped us spread the word. The support weโ€™ve received is insane.โ€

It would seem to be a good idea to actually broadcast his last known location, or sightings, so that others in the area could be on alert.
...though at this point, it sounds like the mother is convinced that the guy is safe.
........so really, this is all about,,, Andre,, call home.

I never questioned the man's legitimacy, that was Tobias, who couldn't find him on Google Searches, then suddenly Tobias, was going looking for him all over Baja.

I got curious and did my own search, and I easily found the missing man Andre, on Google, MyLife, Social Media, and my own private search site.

MyLife, rated Andre, with a poor reputation, which is really hard to do.

My private site, showed a name change, and that he no longer goes by the name of Andre S, but another name, and all kinds of bells and whistles went off, but that's all I will say, because sometimes information is very dated or wrong on certain search sites.

This guy has two Facebook accounts with one of them saying he says in Ensenada, and another one saying he lives somewhere in Southern California.

Something is odd about this whole thing, and I doubt the mother, is telling the whole story, and you never really know who is looking for the guy?

Remember the thread a few years ago, where they wanted to find 2 people in a white van down in Asuncion, we got tricked into looking for people hidding out.

Hook - 3-4-2019 at 02:59 PM

More than anything, this story appears to be another case of someone actually wanting to disappear in Baja for a while and the family was never told of this intention. That can be uncomfortable admitting that.

Let's face it. Escapism is a big motivation for going to Mexico, for many of us.

similar to the feller in the Tundra with pop-up camper who went "missing" a few weeks ago near Loreto

he was found safe and sound minding his own business offgrid near Aguaverde with no clue that anyone was looking for him...

micah202 - 3-4-2019 at 04:21 PM

New Update through FB.... ๐Ÿšจ ''Andre is now with his Mother. We want to thank everyone for all their support in sharing our Post. We can use a lot of prayers that they both return home. ๐Ÿ™ We now know there are still a lot of Caring people in this world. God is Good''

All I can say is thank Gawd the guy wasn't in real trouble, and relying on some of you folk here. Unlikely that yer change yer own diapers anymore. <;~l

JoeJustJoe - 3-4-2019 at 04:26 PM

I just love a happy ending. ๐Ÿ™„

HeyMulegeScott - 3-4-2019 at 05:40 PM

Like I tell my wife - call your mother once and while so she doesn't freak out.
