1. Ride up to San Evaristo and have lunch at Maggie Mae's.
2. Ride down to La Ventana and take a kite surfing lesson.
3. Ride down to Cabo Pulmo and book a snorkeling tour.
4. Take a look at the Baja Divide Bicycle track. It makes a nice loop south of La Ventana.

Hunt and peck from San Antonio to todos sandos. you will see everything imaginable. Toal trip one way is 8 miles or so, so no need for gas....unless you get lost, but there are ranchos with help for that.

Follow Colosio straight up over the hill to Los Planos and continue straight (when the road turns left) and take the dirt road to Boca del Alamo. This will take you up the hill then drop you down through a canyon and eventually you will pop out on a beach road which you can follow all the way to Los Barilles where you can stop for a cerrveza before heading home on MX 1

Tracks? Try opening a darn map (Google Maps works) and looking for streets called Colosio and Los Planes. Here's a clue: 286

Here is the track... to Rancho Boca Del Alamo. You will know you are in Boca when you see a blue painted totem pole on the side of the road and feel the spirit of the Indians, there you will see an arroyo to the beach and up the mountain where you may want to visit briefly. Past Boca del Alamo is El Cardonal where there is a paved road and a nice restaurant, you can drive easily to Los Barriles and on to the caretera or continue on the dirt road the whole way 7 km and stop at Punta Pescadero hotel for a bite and a dip in the pool or ocean. It's quite a short distance overall but takes about 1-2 hours the start of the dirt road in Agua Amarga to Boca Del Alamo on the dirt road and about the same on pavement back to La Paz. There are scary steep drop offs, narrow trail and its rocky enough to shred tires.

Here is a pic of Colosio / San Juan de Los Plannes over the mountain from La Paz to Agua Amarga and then the entrance to the mountain pass. It's a straight shot pretty much until you climb the mountain.
