Show up and get in line, pretty straight forward.

I crossed this past Tuesday at about 1 PM and it was maybe 20 minutes.
Usually longer waits in the morning so if you can wait till later it may be less. Go have some desayuno o tacos and let the line die down.

line is usually pretty reasonable as long as it isn't Sunday afternoon

It is as seen on google maps. Right at Oscar Baylon, merge with the 2, left on Culiacan, then left at the fence on Mexico (what google maps calls it at least). If there is a big line you'll need to got right and find the end of the line, but i've only had to do that on holiday weekends

Latest report: This Sun. afternoon. Two hours wait. M/C cop offered the front of the line for fifty bucks - waited. Plus: This Sat. AM, M/C cop shook a friend down for forty bucks - phantom stop sign. Be extremely careful for hidden signs - dashcam is advisable even if it doesn't work.
