Geez, a month without an R.... go figger.

An El Nino is predicted (70% chance) for this summer, warmer water, more bacteria.

Ya think? :light:

Two different types of poison Buddha. It seems that the current toxin is bacterial contamination, not the classic plankton bloom that causes paralytic shellfish poisoning!

By the way, psp is a problem in Alaska as well, and the water there is never warm....not even in Argust!

I was out there 2 years ago and bought some scallops. ran into a guy with a van.... he had freezers and permits to transport scallops and oysters to So Cal. he then went straight to restaurants and sold out of the van.
