Ok guys, so i know several here are using Gaia, I'm just getting into it. i would like to download data onto a tablet running Gaia (i-pad) These particuular maps are the michigan off road trails, gas stations etc, they are available as .gpx, .kml, .shp files. any way to overlay those onto Gaia?

There is a site out there that converts almost any GPS format to another format. Forgot the name, but I'll look for it.

So I'm sure you could convert it to another format if Gaia doesn't support it natively.

Btw, I personally like Back Country Navigator better than Gaia, It is Android only though.

Thanks JZ. My plan is to get comfortable with Gaia, I will be using the iPad in my rally vehicle (gambler, and 24 hours of Lemons stuff) then maybe put BCN on to my Kyocera burner phone,
