More secluded?

So my wife and I spent a couple nights camping, kayaking and fishing at agua Verde. Beautiful place! Had a blast! It was just a bit more busy than we had hoped for. Any suggestions on something similar, but more secluded?

If your vehicle is up to it, Tembabichi is a great spot. It is south of Agua Verde but accessed from Constitution.

Thanks for the reply. I will start looking into it. Here's my rig and some shots at Agua Verde. The one shot is of the local kids on our kayaks. We let them use them for a bit when we were done. They had a blast!

I second Tembabichi. There are some really cool beaches to the north. I haven't been south of there so I'm not sure what is there but probably worth exploring.

Excellent pictures thanks.

You will make it no sweat with your Tacoma. Check out some posts by JZ on Tembabichi. Puerto Los Gatos north of Tembabichi and the estuary are amazing. Lots of fisheries closure areas. Read the sign at Los Gatos before you fish.

Doug, on your first pic the 'island' (it's not) to the north you can access that along a rock ledge at low tide, camping to the north of it, fewer people. Really good fishing off the rocky shores of the promontory, and a little hot springs on the isthmus to boot.

How was the fishing overall? heard some good grouper reports and also some restrictions. Thanks

Buddha, we went over there and looked. Couple people already there. Looked cool though. At one point there were 19 sail boats and a yacht moored out in the bay. Look like Cabo!
Bentley, we only through lures from the kayaks. That's a pargo in the picture with my wife, I think. Would love to get into some cabrilla!

beautiful photos! we have never been to agua verde but I always thought it was remote and empty. So much for that thought, eh?

The lagoon between Punta Abreojos and La Bocana is a great place to kayak and there is catch and release fishing but there is also a lot of wind this time of year. Once in a great while we see folks out there with their vehicles. camping. hanging out.
