Birds are dirty creatures.

fishbuck - 6-5-2019 at 03:09 PM

Yes well the earth being made of dirt might be why.

fishbuck - 6-5-2019 at 03:19 PM

These are wild birds in their natural habitat.
So what ever "dirty" they is how mother

nature made them and is part of a healthy ecosystem.

Domestic and feral dogs are not part of the baja ecosystem and they ruin it.
It's in the article.
Scientist say that is what is happening.

So take you complaint to the lab coats...
They will straighten you out.

The cute little bird in the story is tagged and tracked. She is fighting for her very survival... and her species...
Her name is Marina and she has returned 2 years in a row.

So p!ss on that JZ...

How cool. They have a preserve here in Carlsbad. I've seen a lot of them this year, so hopefully the restoration of habitat continues. Another reason to be careful of beach driving in sensitive areas. Nature is so amazingly complex, and if you want to discuss a really dirty and foul species, let's look ourselves in the mirror.

Been shooting those foul things with BB guns since I was 9 or 10. Got a stinky sea gull about a year ago who made the bad decision to land on my boat off of Isla San Nicholas.

Why would you brag about shooting protected birds? I understand the frustration with chitty birds but to brag about killing them === ?

fishbuck - 6-5-2019 at 05:25 PM

Yeah really.
Sorry that birds offend you so much.
Had I known you are so badly tramatized and have been since childhood...
I would never have brought it up...

How about furry little bunny rabbits?
Ok... or also going to hurt someones feelings...
Bambie ok...?

I was just joshing ole Fishbuck. Not a bird fan, but don't shoot them.

Have chased a few with the boat over the years. For sea gulls, their top speed seems to be just a hair under 45-50mph, and then they dive into the water. Never got why they don't just fly up. Still waiting to see one of them be smart enough to do that.
