Dog sitter in Loreto?

aburruss - 7-7-2019 at 08:25 PM

Hi all,

We are wanting to do some family outings in Loreto, Some of the outings, we are taking the dogs, kids, etc.. but a couple of the ideas would require that we leave our two lab pups at a doggy-day-care type place. We found an awesome one in La Paz (more about that later), but am wondering if anyone has any recommendations of a reputable place in Loreto.

Thanks!!

Another idea is to let a repeatable person stay at your place in exchange for taking care of your Pups. They could also water the plants and such....

The pups would certainly be happier at home also.

True. But we are in a hotel and checking out that morning.

I would love to hear about the La Paz dog sitter,
I currently leave my dog with a sitter at my home as Paco suggested but then again I do it because it’s easier for me and the dog and I trust her which is the hard to find part to find.

I'm still working on my trip report, which will have lots of details, BUT.. the dog sitter part is this:

Found a place (on Facebook) called Pet & Breakfast. Great communication, very flexible with schedule of drop off, day care versus overnight stay, etc.

I think it worked out to about $500 MXN for my two dogs to stay there from noon on Friday to 5PM on Saturday. I stopped by on Friday afternoon to drop off dog food, and they had taken the dogs inside into an air conditioned room because of the heat, On Saturday morning, they sent me a message on WhatsApp with how the dogs were doing, along with pictures of them playing with other dogs.

Super friendly, super responsive, super reasonable prices, very accommodating to my schedule. I'd highly recommend them for day dog sitting, or an overnight stay.

My pups are the two black dogs, dead center and at 10 o'clock

Thank you! Good lucking dogs and sounds like a great find.
I’ll save this one.
Look forward to your trip report.
Thanks
