I had a good trip with my two sons from San Diego. The trip details are:
San Diego -> Guerro Negro -> San Juanico (Scorpion Bay) via (High Road) -> Bahia Tortuga -> San Quintin - San Diego trip.
Road conditions the entire trip were a non-issue. Good conditions, much fewer pot holes South of Catavina than in previous trips. The construction in
Santo Thomas is ongoing but maybe 20 min delay. Each way.
The High Road from San Ignacio to Scorpion Bay was much easier to navigate (maps.me) than expected. A lot of animals were present, almost no soft
sand. I imagine this time of year a 2 wheel vehicle could make it. The water was very warm and we had small but fun waves - air temp was low 90s I
think. We stayed at the Scorpion Bay Campground - great facilities but lots of folks.
The road to Bahia Tortugas is in great shape and is new in parts. Easy trip over and spent a few days camping before heading-back North.
Awesome time.AKgringo - 8-10-2019 at 06:54 AM
Thanks for the report! I have not been out to Bahia Tortugas yet, and this serves as a reminder to put it on the 'Must visit' list.David K - 8-10-2019 at 07:51 AM

@Pacifico - It was sort of a beach camping event. Some shore fishing for fun, nothing serious.BajaRat - 8-17-2019 at 06:56 PM
