The road to San Nicolas'

I'm very familiar with the road, but I haven't been over it since 2013. I've done it a hundred times in 3/4 ton pickups. If the worst spots haven't had some fairly serious work, I question whether my new-to-me Toyota v-6 micro RV can "make the grade." A local friend says I can do it. Has anyone driven a rig like this into San Nicolas?

What's out there?

Wonder if you can cut over to Punta Pulpito. I tried to map it out on GE, but didn't make it all the way.

While I havent driven out to San Nicolas, I have taken my toyota RV all over baja down plenty of places with crappy roads, including San Basilio just down the way

you should be able to go most anywhere a 2wd pickup can go, the departure angle sucks sometimes on short whoops or really rough transitions, worse case you rip the chit tanks off and gotta go pull em up off the side of the road, a smelly and embarrassing endeavor but not the end of the world

There is an old mining road about half way going north

I was just out to Pulpito by boat last month. But wasn't looking closely at the beaches.

Highway 1 to San Nicolas, Feb. 2017

The road goes east at Km. 62 (south of Mulegé) and just past the Restaurant Rosarito (on the west side of the highway). It is 10.2 miles to the village, near the sea, which is 0.2 miles beyond. Chuy's Sportfishing is advertised. I did not see any signage for tourist services, camping, etc.
