Crossed at the Mexicali east crossing a few years ago. Got our FMM at the west crossing by walking across then drove to east crossing. Still a good
way to do it or is there an easier way? Driving a pickup with a short utility trailer. I did a search but the info was a bit outdated.

The east crossing, 7 miles or so east of Calexico hasn't changed in a long time as far as getting a FMM is concerned. Easy. They've let us park right
where they first stop you in the "No Declare" area. If you need to go to the bank it's a short walk.
The new west crossing from what many have said is really easy also. Soon as you clear the booths on the Mexican side you IMMEDIATELY turn left and
park right in front of a new building. Lots of parking, though we've not tried it.

Going South, cross at the West.
Going North, cross at the East.

The new west border: You can park on the right and walk across to the building, as well.
