Many of you Nomads will be happy to hear that China's Taqueria in the BOLA had a grand re-opening last Sunday October 13th. China's daughter has
taken over the great little taco stand. The food was reported to be excellent and had some of Mom's old recipes. We wish her the best and know that
China's reputation will be carried forward. Be reminded that Sundays, which we have labeled (Gringo Domingo) All the great food comes out. We think
of you often China.David K - 10-16-2019 at 11:00 AM
That is great news!
I hope there is still birria on Domingo!JZ - 10-16-2019 at 11:30 AM
Don't think I've been before. Where is it located exactly?
Will give it a go. Suntan - 10-16-2019 at 11:43 AM
It right next door to Los Hamacas Restaurant and Lizeth market. AKA(telephone store)David K - 10-16-2019 at 11:49 AM
No surprises. Small but established business, and there isn't much else to do in Bahia. The in-law has been working sometimes here and there, the
last one being a caretaker in some ocean research center down the road, not much money or job security. Lucera - China's daughter - not sure she had
any job, was busy taking care of her two children. With a young family it's tough there. advrider - 10-19-2019 at 09:03 PM
The food was always really good and she was a very nice lady. I hope the quality is as good. I wish them good luck and will report back after the
first of the year. bkbend - 10-20-2019 at 03:52 PM
I had lunch there today (I am a gringo and it is Domingo) and there was little change in the food and operation. There were even a couple
improvements, like napkin holders with napkins at the table. I hope she can make a go of it.mtgoat666 - 10-20-2019 at 06:41 PM

Sometimes you have to be thankful for the little things.
