They were doing construction about this time last time ? Are the turns basically the same (turn at the Whale?) and is it signed ? Current map ?

Same as always. The construction is completely finished.
Bear right at the whale tail/dove statue. Turn right at the Home Depot corner. Follow the levee road to the set of lights at Mex 1 South.
Can not speak to the signs. I have lived here long enough I do not even notice them anymore.
