We stayed last Sunday and Monday at San Diego county Potrero Park. Really nice campground. Walked across the border on Monday to get our FMMs and some
tacos. Easy crossing on Tuesday with the RV. We were towing our Jeep and they had me start it and checked my VIN against registration. First time they
checked the RV registration against VIN but didn't ask for my ID. Minimal inside search and we were on our way to Valle De Guadalupe.
We stayed three nights at Rancho Sordo Mudo/ Guadalupe RV park. Luke told us they no longer have deaf students as the Mexican government is providing
education/training so they don't have to leave their families. Luke and his family now have several AirBnB units and an Australian company is
developing a resort on the hill above the ranch.
We did wine tasting at Las Nubes, Cieli, Sol Y Barro, Descantos, and Lechuza. Luchuza was probably our favorite. Their Amantes wine got a good rating
by the Wine Spectator and we were lucky to buy a bottle before it sold out. Had a great breakfast at the famous La Cocina de Doña Esthela. No wait
unlike last time we tried to go a Sunday in the spring and it was packed.

Left VDG around 10a. Traffic in Ensenada wasn't too bad and they maybe have fixed some potholes since last spring. 20 minute or so wait at the
construction site south of town. Fairly easy drive to Celito Lindo with same slow farm/trucks.
Weather has been really nice at the beach. Enjoyed riding our fat tire ebikes out on the sand. Margs and food at the restaurant are still awesome and
cheap. Onto Catavina or LA Bay tomorrow.

When driving my RV, always stage at Potrero Park when going South.
Great report.
(Potrero Regional Park is a San Diego County Camping Park minutes from the Tecate border crossing.)

I agree with the statement about Portrero 100% Great place to stage, clean and lots of room.

They rent cabins too if you don't have an RV and want to stay close to the border.
