Going on a weeklong motorbike ride. The sort with long hours of near full travel of suspension components. I am a new owner of a galaxy tablet.
Can it take the beating if wrapped in clothing or other material?micah202 - 1-18-2020 at 08:21 PM
Should be okay in the depths of your bundle, so long as yer don't do any deep rivers or drop the bike on it.
...but then it'd be the least of your worries!

Slip it in some foam or make a little bag for it. If it's in a backpack it should be fine if you don't land on it. DavidT - 1-19-2020 at 04:50 AM
Check out the Apache line of cases at Harbor Freight.
I have one for my drone, works pretty well for a Pelican knockoff.
Somewhere in my files I have info on a company that makes case inserts specific to your device. I have one for an old iPad.
I’ll see if I can find that link later today. DavidT - 1-19-2020 at 04:58 AM
Custom built cases.
I’ve had no dealings with this company yet although I’m looking at their handgun cases. pacificobob - 1-19-2020 at 07:29 AM
Thanks for the replies. I have had a couple digital cameras that just weren't right after having the crap knocked out of them. I think I'll just wrap
up and go.KurtG - 1-20-2020 at 10:30 AM

I've carried small laptops and tablets on rough rides, besides some good padding I've found that putting the tablet in a zip lock is essential. Dust
is very persistent in it's ability to penetrate everything.pacificobob - 1-20-2020 at 10:49 AM
