Sentri registered car, Sentri registered driver but not to this car

So here's my story:
Person A has a Sentri pass for their car and Person B has a Sentri pass for their car.
Can Person A use the Sentri Lane with Person B's car?

Good question I'll be interested in the answer to this one. Maybe someone going north soon can ask the officer when they use their sentri pass and let us know his answer.

I asked that of an agent years ago and agent said ok.
I’ll ask again this Wednesday and report back.

You can ask them the question: https://help.cbp.gov/s/questions?language=en_US.

I asked them something last year, and it took them 4 days, but they did get back to me.

I'd certainly ask before I tried it.

I used the link JZ provided and contacted CBP. They got back to me the next morning with the following:
You may drive another SENTRI member's vehicle in the SENTRI lane if you have an active Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) membership and your TTP card is activated. The vehicle also has to be registered for the SENTRI program. You should carry a letter from the owner of the vehicle that states you are authorized to drive it. It is preferred that the letter be notarized.
