The deciding reason I ordered the 6-pack was because of this winery. In early February, my business partner and oenophile way above me, took a week
off and went to one of the swanky all-inclusive resorts in Cabo. He had never had Mexican wine before but tried the Valle de Tintos Temranillo that
was available at the resort and liked it enough to send me this photo. In the shipment I received, was their Cab-Merlot blend and I gave it to him.
When working on this post, I texted him what he thought of the Cab-Mer blend. I got this reply:
Yes. I drank it with Phil the other night. It was good.
Phil has three hand signals for judging wine:
1. Thumbs down = pass
2. Wiggle-Waggle (Hang Loose sign) = drinkable, most will like
3. Thumbs up = Outstanding (I've never seen this sign.)
Phil rated the Cab-Merlot blend a wiggle-waggle on his left hand and a sideways thumb on his right. You're on your own here and MTFBWY.
