Just did the migration from San Felipe to Durango Colorado.
My observation is is that is pretty inconvenient and a royal pain in Colorado due to the stay sheltered at home demand from the state officials. In
San Felipe I can go anywhere I want and especially in the desert with no risk at all. No shortages in San Felipe. Very limited TP and disinfectant in
Durango. Huge waiting lines for takeout in Colorado. Takeouts in San Felipe not an issue.
Traveling: No wait at Mexicali East regular line, Hotel In Chandler had hot coffee, but no other food. Disinfected the whole hotel room and wore
gloves and masks. Brought the supplies from San Felipe. In
San Felipe we found two kinds of medical masks and disinfectant in bulk or in squirt bottles - not an issue.
In AZ takeout for food was easy - call and park and wait. Same for breakfast. Took the food to our room to eat.
Gas was 2.10 in Yuma, 1.68 in Payson, 2.10 in Farmington and Durango.4/18-19/2020
Bottom line San Felipe is a pretty nice place these days compared to Colorado. |
