Oh, those are great shells for baja! I had one. Indestructible. Does it have a small cab-over section in the front?

Too bad the company is out of business. Truly unique shells

Callen Campers shells are coveted by those going offroad and to Baja. Steel framed. The company went through big problems some years (8-10 years?) ago. Reportedly straightened out.

From their website: "Camper production is currently postponed until later in 2019, further details will be posted in the near future."

I just called the number on the website and got a message saying they are not accepting calls at this time, try later. Not even taking messages. Heck of a way to run a business.

Plus the address is in San Marcos. It always used to be in El Cajon.

The story I heard is that when the son took over the business he failed to keep it going.

SFandH,
Yes. I had friends who ordered an enclosed trailer, perhaps over 10 years ago. There were numerous, long delays, work not being completed on time or to specification, and not holding to their word. Others had similar negative experiences. As far as I know, the company has been reputable during the past several years.

Great campers! Amo Pescar had one made for his truck, in 2001... before the problems.
