It has been just over a year since the episode was first shown on TV (Travel Channel, Season 4 opener.
We filmed the episode over the President's Day weekend in February 2019. The crew and I spent 4 days and three nights in Baja... filmed for three of
the 4 days... Only about 4 minutes was on the show! We had a LOT more scenery and talking parts than what was used... You won't need to suffer through
it all! LOL
Night one and three was in Tijuana and Night two was at the Baja Cactus in El Rosario. Antonio joined us for one of our meals at Mama Espinoza's
(Scott Wolter loved the crab soup). The day we went to see the "Viking ship" petroglyph, Ed Lusk of Baja's Best came along... as he had the key to the
now locked gate between Hwy. 1 and Mission San Fernando.
The petroglyph cliff is 1/2 mile past the mission.
This link should take you to just a few seconds before the Baja portion begins (Min. 33:25). Move the time bar back to see the whole show in the
context of why Scott's producer asked me to take them to see this site in Baja. While they didn't use much of the film, it sure was a lot of fun going
with them and seeing how these shows are made.
I also did a trip report with lots more photos, here on Baja Nomad.

Good show. Damn power lines screwed things up, but the info on the artifacts was great! And the taped interview was believable.David K - 6-15-2020 at 03:26 PM

Edited to fix the YouTube link... This begins just a few seconds before the Baja part begins, which is in the last minutes of the show.
I am also adding a 1926 photo of the ship petroglyph... the oldest I have found, so far...
