Summer scholarship party

After giving it much thought, I have decided to move the Christmas party up to the summer!

There are 7 students graduating after next semester and it will be good to meet up with them now, since they are in the process of searching out internships.

First step is painting the boxes for each student. I bought a beautiful blue color paint and Alfonso and I already started the project a couple days ago.













Here are some of the goodies donated by JB and Glenda, Punta Chivato, Pat and Kathy. Besides all of this, I bought shampoos and soaps and razors and deodorants with cash donated by the ever beautiful Lori of Cabo!

















Lots of work ahead! Yesterday I filled all the girls' boxes with clothes. Today I will do the guys' clothes.


Pics as I progress. Thanks to all who have helped me along the way. We have SEVEN students graduating! One of them, Dayr, who is studying/living in La Paz, has needed out help since high school. We covered his tuition then, we covered him all thru college and he will need help if he interns in Cabo, which is where his dream company internship is. He is the greatest person - huge heart and as bright as they come.
