Mexicali crossing on foot?

Hi everyone,
I wish to cross into Mexico via Mexicali at 4 am (someone will give me a ride to La Bocana from the Mexican side).
Is this possible?

You are a natularized Mexican citizen. Of course you can. 4 am I´m not sure about.

Just wondering if it is open at that hour for walkers.
That being said, I have been told it is a hotspot for the virus so I may have to pass going on foot or at all.
I want to see my Mom, she doesn't feel safe coming here and I get that.
